Can cam girls see you?

No. A cam model cannot see you unless you deliberately switch on your own camera. By default the video runs one way: she is on screen, you are a nickname in a chat list.

What a model sees by default

• Your username.
• What you type in public chat or private messages.
• Your tips, with the amount.
• Your account status, on some sites: whether you hold tokens, whether you follow her, how long you have been a member.
• Your country or region, on some sites, as a flag next to your name. Never your address, and nothing more precise.

That is the entire picture. No face, no real name, no email address.

When your camera does come on

Only when you start cam to cam, an option inside a private show. Your browser asks for permission first, and nothing is sent until you grant it. What cam to cam means walks through it. If you never click that button, your camera is never involved.

A covered lens costs nothing if you want certainty.

Are cam sites anonymous?

Toward other users, yes: models and viewers know you by nickname. Toward the site itself, less so. It has the email address you registered with, your IP address and, if you buy tokens, a payment record held by its processor. A separate email account and a nickname unrelated to your name keep those two worlds apart.

Can she work out who you are?

Only from what you tell her. People give themselves away in chat far more often than through any technical leak: a first name, a city, a job, a username reused from social media. Pick a nickname you use nowhere else.

In practice

Visitors who worry about being recognised often prefer rooms built around a narrow interest, where conversation stays on the show: our feet rooms and redhead rooms pages are two examples. And if your question is what happens to video after a show, read whether shows are recorded.
