How much do cam sites cost?

A cam site costs what you decide to spend, starting at nothing. There is no entry fee on the sites we link to and no subscription to watch. The three places money can go are tips, private shows and optional memberships, and each has a price you see before paying.

Free: more than a teaser

On token-based sites every public room is open. You can watch for hours, and with a free account you can chat. Premium sites are stricter, with a short free preview before the paid part, but looking around is free there too. What is actually free compares the two models.

Tips

Optional and entirely up to you. A tip can be a single token. Regulars who tip tend to spend the price of a drink or two over an evening; viewers who chase goals in busy rooms spend more. The site sells tokens in packs, with the price displayed on the purchase page.

Private shows

This is where real money goes. A private show is billed per minute at a rate the model sets herself, shown on the button before you confirm. Rates vary enormously from one model to the next: experience, popularity and the site's positioning all play a part. Ten minutes with one performer can cost what forty cost with another. Compare. Categories with many independent models, such as BBW rooms and mature rooms, show the spread well.

How private shows work lists what to ask before the meter starts.

Memberships and extras

Some sites sell a monthly membership that removes ads, adds private messaging or gives a token bonus. Individual models may sell fan-club access or recorded videos. None of this is needed to enjoy live rooms.

Setting a limit

1. Choose a figure for the evening before you log in.
2. Buy one token pack for that amount and no more.
3. In private, check your balance and decide on a number of minutes beforehand.
4. Switch off automatic top-ups if the site has them.

The live count in the table below is free to consult, too: it shows which categories have the most rooms open.
